Prison Release

Locked in a prison
Made of fears and tears
Silently suffering
Afraid someone will hear
Me cry in the night
After everyone sleeps
Why can’t I get out?
I’m holding the key
Yet I can’t set myself free
From inside me
God plants a seed
He nurtures and grows it
It grows and then I see
The prison is gone
With no need for a key
God has firmly rooted
And implanted me with peace
